My final outcome
I found this very easy and simple and i was able to create this image from a series of already generated images from the internet.

all it took was few tools to create this:
I used the magic wand tool to erase the background off of my images i had taken and then placed them onto the main piece.

simply using CTRL + T i was able to arrange the images to the size and rotation i wanted to help suit this piece the best.

some images where an off color to what i wanted but easily i used the hue/saturation tool on this picture to make it silhouette looking making it as dark as i can

subversive adverts are a creation of something original but changing it into a more drastic way e.g making a company look bad by taking one of their sayings and advertising and then changing it.
so like what i have done above and what others have done below.

Ideas?

We thought about making an advert for a suit for to make it more weird we could have Oscar in a suit but with a horse mask which he owns.

What can we do extra?

We could reshape our faces and edit them in weird ways for example making our faces long or when we open our mouths we could enlarge our mouths to the point its surreal.

We then looked at 3 adverts:

We found this weird because of the direct eye contact along with the person covered in ice cream eating the ice cream of their head. I t also made us feel sick as well as being creep-ed out especially with it being a close up shot.

We seen this as a normal advert until the guys face started bending in a surreal way that made us all laugh. We got the idea that we need to implement this into our advert to make it even more weird without even adding any props or scenery.

We seen this advert as funny as first but then it got dark and the clown started being weird and once the kid ate the food he got angry and punched the kid which was not expected and the mood set waas cheerful and full of happy high pitch and fast tempo music then it slowed down and the sound got deeper and set a gloomy mood which we could do for our ad make it have a mood swing form good to bad or bad to worse.




Extra bits to add for the advert.
We can up with a name and a slogan
the slogan was going to be "Ride With Pride"
and the name of the product we are selling (suit)will be called "Horse Master Suits"

we thought about doing weird poses in the suit and mask but change the area and pose every time

I will be the narrator commenting over it. My speech is still TBA

We also decided to use jazz music for this advert to set a silly but calm mood for the viewers.

Firstly we got put into four groups of four or more and got set a task to go out and copy and image that has already been taken form a book that we all had and had o take four images between each group. Then when we got back it was a game with which group can find the image used from the other groups who had replicated that image from the book and we had to find it.

what have i learnt?

1. I learnt a lot more about the cameras we used such as what a lens protector does such as blocks sunlight and protects the lens if dropped and other components from the shutter to the view finder.
2. I have learnt how to replicate an image and find the right angle and pose needed to recreate that image
3. We also looked at the different programs and found out what P.A.S.M meant. Which was Program, Aperture, Speed and Manual.

with this i was experimenting with the lasso and the marquee tool.

Cutting out areas of my image of the clown and filling them with bold colors using the paint bucket tool and even replacing a certain area using the lasso tool as you can see above with the clowns faxce and the chest.

i used the clone tool to create these freaky images in Photoshop by combining two images together to make them even more freaky. i had an easy time going through my documents to find what i wanted

I think what makes an image freaky is something that has more body parts than normal e.g eyes and mouth

i could have made these images better if i had more time and maybe i could have got the links for each image i used in this but i had no time to do so.

But overall i found this easy.

Our first task was to identify slogans used by businesses as an introduction to business.

Firstly I learnt a few slogans used in business adverts and the ones I didn't know was "Buy it Sell it Love it" which was used by EBAY but I thought I was by Gumtree. Another I got wrong was "Central Heating For Kids" which was a slogan used by Ready Breake. I knew a few and the ones I was familiar with was; Just Do It (Nike), Finger Lickin' Good (KFC) and another one, Im Loving It (McDonalds)

Our task earlier was create a product with the random cards given and ours was aimed at a 10-15 year olds, which will be advertised in the newspaper and it had to be a sports drink the one we called Flash.

My biggest challenge was thinking about a wide range ideas for this task.

I have learnt to be more confident when discussing ideas in a group of a people who I have never communicated with before.

this image by Olly Moss can be used as an advert for a bottle of water this was also inspired by the Sea Saw and I can use the plain simplicity but with a big meaning.

 Jason was

his name was inspired by a school girl one of the creators knew which was Van Vorhees which he thought was a creepy name. at start Jason was originally a boy but the creators made it even more weird by making Jason deformed.

 

I can be influenced by this because of the dark backgrounds and scenes used in the film which can help create a spooky advert.
